TENVIC City Challenger Series - Badminton

March 2017: TENVIC Sports is thrilled to announce the launch of the TENVIC Challenger Series for 2017-18, kicking off with a Badminton Challenger Edition in Bengaluru. The Series provides amateurs an opportunity to compete against each other in various age groups, over a set of 12 tournaments through the year.

Competitors in each age category will be awarded points in every tournament. All players/teams begin with 2000 points; points will be awarded or deducted based on the outcome of each match, and the relative rankings of the competitors. Singles and Doubles Standings in each age category will be published after each edition. The top eight players/teams at the end of the Series will receive attractive cash prizes and sports goodies.

Details, Terms and Conditions

The Last Date to register for the first edition in the series is 27 April 2017. Twelve editions will be conducted once monthly, culminating in March 2018.
The Tournament will be played between 10AM and 6PM; participants will be notified of Starting Times once registrations close and Draws are generated.
The Tournament Format will be Knock-out. The Match Scoring Format will be best of 3, 11 points to a game.
Registration Fees, once paid online, are non-refundable except if the Tournament is cancelled.
Players should bring proof of their Date of Birth and their own racquets; non-marking shoes are mandatory.
The Series Organizers' decisions on Registration, Eligibility and Draw are final and binding, and Referees retain the right to disqualify any player for any kind of misconduct.
Any Registered Participant reporting after the starting time notified by the Tournament Organizer will be disqualified.
Completing registration will imply acceptance of these terms and conditions.
